TEA TREE (melaleuca alternifolia) Tea tree is the best known anti-fungal around, and it has a clean cool scent that is adored by kids and grownups alike. Its origins date back to the Aborigines in Australia where it is highly regarded for its medicinal value, and often used as a tea. It is prized for its anti-fungal, anti-viral, antibacterial, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, and as a powerful immuno-stimulant. It has a warm, fresh odor that is somewhat medicinal and spicy. It is wonderful against infectious organisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses, and is excellent for skin care, acne, cold sores, rashes, infected wounds and athletes feet.
